(Gr. 5 – 6) Junior Writing Workshop

The Junior level Writing Workshop teaches students language arts objectives. Learn the importance of vocabulary, grammar, and overall writing techniques. Students will learn effective writing skills and the process of collecting ideas, organizing information, refining, and proofreading. The Writing Workshop features fictional and nonfictional writing.

University Calculus / AP & IB Program Preparation

Calculus is a fundamental Mathematics course in all post-secondary engineering, management and science disciplines. STS University Calculus Preparation Course prepares students for the introductory level university Calculus courses by revisiting three core Mathematics concepts: functions, equations and differentiation. The course will also introduce concepts in integrations and its applications. After completing the course, students will be prepared to start any introductory level university Calculus course.

Course Teacher:

Mr. Eric Choi
Education Director, OCT, M.Ed.

Mr. Choi is an experienced high school Math teacher and passionate educator. He prepares students in their secondary school level Mathematics and also their University’s first and second year levels. Mr. Choi also prepares education seminars throughout the year to share his thoughts on the Ontario Education system and give suggestions to students on how to prepare themselves to go beyond their potential. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, Mr. Choi continues to challenge students to test their limits and push themselves to the next level.
