We are always seeking individuals who are creative and passionate in teaching. We are looking for teachers who are hardworking, enthusiastic and are familiar with the Ontario curriculum.
The position involves teaching students in a small group, with an average of 6-10 students per class. The applicant will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging students to learn during evenings, weekends and during the summer.
We are recruiting for our 3 campuses located in Scarborough, Richmond Hill and Markham. The teaching positions available are for permanent part-time, summer part-time and summer full- time. The classes take place during the following hours:
Permanent part- time:
Monday to Friday: 4:30 to 8:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (average 6 to 12 hours per week)
Summer part-time and full-time:
Monday to Friday: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm; Saturday: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm; Sunday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (9 to 30 hours per week)
Responsibilities of our teachers include:
- Teach and explain concepts on the chalkboard based on the materials provided by our school.
- Evaluate students' quizzes and final examinations provided by our school.
- Assign and mark students' classwork and homework provided by our school.
We are seeking teachers who have a degree in Education, or specialize in the related discipline. We welcome individuals who are in the process of pursuing their teaching certificate. Excellent communication, presentation and classroom management skills are required.
